Altered Books Monthly

Last night was our second "Altered Books Monthly" class at The Paper Tree. It's really proving to be my favorite class to teach. I always feel a bit more loose and casual creating altered books. Plus, if you're not happy with a particular page, no worries- just rip it out and try again! And, you can easily include charms and trinkets- a great way to preserve family keepsakes. I love going on a treasure hunt to find interesting little doo-dads to include. Next months class will feature techniques for transfering your photos and even patterned paper images directly onto the book pages using a printer. Can't wait!
